Creating Instagram outfits on Customuse

Let's create a custom Instagram outfit using Customuse.

Select the Instagram template you like and click Remix. This opens the template in the Customuse Editor. Customize the template: add logos or images and change colours.

Save the model by clicking on 'Save & Export'. Once you add a name and hashtags, your download will start. Later you can find this model in the 'My Designs' tab.

Uploading outfits to Instagram

When you save the outfit you will download a .zip archive with a Spark AR Project (.arproj) and all the project files. Unarchive it to any folder and open the .arproj file. This will open the file in the Spark AR — and you will be able to preview your outfit on your computer.

In the Spark AR interface click on 'Publish' in the top right corner and publish it to your Spark AR Hub. Select what platforms to publish on and what kind of experience (sharing or ads) it is. We recommend choosing ‘Sharing’ experience. Wait for the textures to compress and press 'Upload'. Once the file uploads, the Spark AR Hub will open in your browser.

Enter all the metadata: the name, the platforms where you want to publish and whether the mask is private or public. When you are done — press 'Publish'!

Press save to save the draft and test on device. Test on your own device or send a link to a friend! Then you can publish it to Instagram. It may take a few hours before the model is reviewed and formally published.
