Creating TikTok effects on Customuse

Let's create a custom TikTok outfit using Customuse.

Select the TikTok template you like and click Remix. This opens the template in the Customuse Editor. Customize the template: add existing images or upload your own and change the colours of the elements. You can also add text choosing from variety of fonts or make drawings using brush tool.

Save the outfit by clicking on 'Save'. Once you add a name and hashtags, your download will start. Later you can find this outfit on the 'My Designs' page.

Uploading outfits to TikTok

When you save the outfit you will download a .zip archive with a Effect House Project (.ehproj) and all the project files in separate folders. Unarchive it to any folder and open the .ehproj file. This will open the file in the Effect House.

Once the file opens in Effect House, you will be able to preview your outfit on your computer.

Untitled

To publish your outfit for anyone to see, you will first need to log in with your TikTok account to your Effect House. Just click on ‘Submit’ in the top right corner and follow the steps on the screen.

You can also preview you outfit (or effect) on your smartphone before publishing. Just click on ‘Preview in TikTok‘ in the top right corner. You will need to pair your account to Effect House, see a short guide here: Effect Hose Introduction
